Japanese Occupied Indonesia

About three and a half years Indonesian in occupied by the Japanese,condition of Indonesian people during the Japanese accupation the Indonesian people suffered very much. The activities of the Japanese caused them live in saddening condition. Because,the Japanese was crueler and greedier then the Dutch. They seized the people property and forced them to do the hard labor in orderto support the Japanese army against the Allied Forces.

Indonesian people defy the Japanese cruelty,The Japanese soldier action caused the grudge and hatred everywhere. That’s why many revolts appeared here and there in Indonesia,such as: The Batlle of Blitar led by Supriadi, the Batlle of Tasikmalaya led by K.H Zainal Mustafa etc.

Did the world War II extend to Asia,because japan was on the side of Germany. Japan wanted to hold the power Asia continent and Pacific Ocean.

It began after japan destroyed the United States Army post at PeralHarbour on December 8, 1941. And afterwards,the violent war between Japanese and the Allied Forces grew worse in Asia continent and Pacific Ocean area.

Japanese accupation in Indonesian end in Augus 1945. Because japan was defeated by the Alliad Forces, after the United States dropped atomic bombs over Hirosima and Nagasaki. Indonesia people revolted all together. The awaited day had come then. An the independence of Indonesia was proclaimed by Sukarno and Hatta,on August 17,1945.
